Assisted with zoning, residential unit blocking and layout, back of house design, consultant coordination and later trade coordination. Became co-project manager and continue to review & return submittals & RFIs and work with the project team to finalize elements for construction.

For a private client, designed five options for the conversion of an existing one-bedroom, one-bath apartment into a two-bedroom, two-bath unit. One option was chosen, modified, and built.

Under two contracts, drafted floor plans, sections, and elevations for a number of existing buildings, ranging from small tenements to a 1,600-unit apartment complex. Acquired experience conducting field measurements and surveys to obtain information for buildings without original drawings, as well as verifying information in the field.

Researched and helped draft a booklet and proposal (sent to the NYC City Council) to repurpose the Port Morris Branch, an abandoned rail line in the Bronx, into a linear greenway linked to local cultural institutions. Also assisted in writing requests for city council funding.
