The proposed re-design of the Packard Hotel in Historic Old Havana focuses on incorporating traditional Cuban design aesthetic into an innovative and rational design, anchoring the most prominent corner of the city. The hotel’s aestchetic is inspired by the significant historic architeture seen throughout Havana, which now stands in near ruin. The classical inspired plans and elevations respect the surrounding historic buildings while showcasing the complex details of Cuban architectural typologies.
