Previously a 1950's condo site with 5 attached single units we wanted to develop this site as a place that was attractive for young professional families as start up homes. During the development of the site we battled with the idea of maximizing the site with attached condos, this would have allowed us to fit 2 more onto this double lot but potential profit was not the only driving force behind this development. We wanted to provide a space unlike what is already existing, we wanted to have front yards and backyards for kids, dogs , family bbq's and gatherings, once the argument was presented to the developer she agreed that units  and a low profile of two stories would suffice to make this project unique and desirable in an already very desirable location. 

Each of the units has a traditional floor plan at the front and a reverse ( living space above ) on the rear to allow for privacy from each other.  The four bedroom, five bathroom units featured full size kitchens with eat in islands and gas fireplaces. The contemporary design and open floor plan floods the living space with natural light, while the warm white oak floors and fireplace natural stone give it the much wanted warmth of a home.
