Located in the heart of the Bronx, Melrose Commons is a low-income, government subsidized residential building. The building, designed by Danois Architects P.C., brings new life into the much needed neighborhood of Melrose.
The facade of the building was assembled using prefabricated concrete and brick units. The roof houses a small farm of windmills providing electricity for the buildings common areas as well as earning the building LEED Certification.
