Architect, educator, and principal of XMANIFOLD A.D.R.L.

I am a founding member and principal of an independent, collaborative-based architecture and design practice, XMANIFOLD A.D.R.L. (Applied Design Research Laboratory), working in all scales of architectural, landscape, and interior projects.

My most recent professional work includes authoring for the studio’s first monograph, “S.E.A.L. (Sea, Earth, Aether, and Landscape)”, design proposal for the Cincinnati’s Live-Make Industrial Arts Center, Design Build installation for the 2014 Design Miami Week, and consulting and project management for 22,000 sqft, passive house grade, commercial office space in Bronx, New York.

I am the curator for global young architects exhibition, ‘Revenant' and the editor and publisher of upcoming journal on tropical architecture and urbanism, ‘Prototropic’.

Prior to running an independent practice, I have previously worked with Greg Lynn, Elena Manferdini, Eric Owen Moss, Testa/Weiser, LAR/Fernando Romero in Los Angeles, KY International and Inform Design in Honolulu, and MD Lab and Schmidhuber + Partners in Europe.

My work have been exhibited at the Pacific Design Center, Merchant Street Gallery, SCI-Arc Gallery, and CoXist Gallery in Los Angeles, Honolulu, and Salt Lake City. My writings have been published in 'PLAT' Journal for Architecture (Rice University), 'On Ramp' (SCI-Arc), and 'Abstract' (Columbia University)

I have previously taught and lectured in Los Angeles (SCI-Arc) and in Honolulu (UH SoA, Chaminade) and have been an invited juror at Woodbury University School of Architecture, the New School in Parsons, Cooper Union, Columbia University GSAPP, Pratt, and TUM in Munich, DE.

I have received a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design (M.Sc AAD) from Columbia University, and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Design from University of Hawaii at Manoa.
