California Ranch

Project Size:  10,000 Square Feet

Narrative: This project is designed for the Californian individual; someone who wants to erase the lines between indoors and outdoors and embrace the spectacular Southern California climate through leisurely activities. Almost every room in the house has a connection to the outdoors through floor-to-ceiling glass in place of walls in order to bring light and nature inside, creating a relationship to the outdoors that is as much a part of the home as the decor.

Created by Cliff May, the California Ranch style house is low-slung and
consists of wide, open spaces, and a pitched-roof while creating a
unique relationship with the outdoors.
