Skyline Park, Indiana’s largest green roof, is located in downtown Fort Wayne and is accessed through Ash Skyline Plaza. Designed to create varying scales of interaction between public and private use, the Park is an amenity space for the office building and the in-progress Skyline Tower apartment building. Attractive, freestanding lighting fixtures illuminate the space in both day and night. Because the space can be rented for private events, the Park’s power needs were designed with a variety of potential events in mind. The Park is a place to find urban respite, with natural grass, raised herb and flower gardens, a fountain, and a variety of seating.
