Elite Eyecare and Optical is a satellite location in a mall for an established eyecare clinic.  The client requested an eye-catching retail space.  The location within the mall called for a more modern approach to design.  The dominate theme of the space are curves inspired by the very glasses that the clinic sales.  The storefront is framed by a large, abstracted “temple piece”, the part of the glasses that go over the ears.  The same shape is repeated in the reception desk and the canopy over the desk.  The large storefront window is reminiscent of glasses lens.  The lens shape is repeated in the displays, which recess into and protrude from the walls of the retail area.  In addition to the custom retail showroom, the location acts as a full service eyecare clinic with an optics/contact lab, two exam rooms, offices, and a waiting room.
