The concept of impossibility has become extinct to the newest generations. As a result of new technology, scientific discoveries, alternative means of communication as well as new social and political reforms once ingrained paradigms are continuously challenged and change rapidly. A discipline in design, especially one such as architecture, is integral to these altering landscapes as a tool for analyzing information, speculating trends, visualizing potential futures, and producing possibilities on how to move forward. In this context, architecture serves its traditional role as a mechanism to design buildings but also as a instrument to create other design solutions.
I see urban centers as the defining framework for progressive reforms of civilization’s future. Over the past several years I immersed myself in diagramming and mapping methodologies used to analyze and represent urban processes and organizations. As a result I have made assessments of cities through multiple angles from housing and urban development to infrastructure and public transportation to understand how these inform design and architectural landscapes. In addition I have cultivated a strong skill set to design socially and environmentally sustainable architectures with a strong emphasis on data driven research and simulations. Through both my academics and personal endeavors, I have global experience living and working in over 20 international cities.

I was taught to never focused on one single aspect of Architecture. Instead I have been given a very broad range of skills to aid me in any discipline I so choose. Rather than looked at the world through the lens of Architecture I was instructed to study architecture from a worldly lens and incorporate this knowledge and expertise from other various fields of study from the sciences to the humanities. I don’t see the architect as the one man mastermind but as the orchestrator of various specialist.
