BRIEF:
Comprehensive remodel of guest house to John Lautner’s Chemosphere. Located below the iconic structure at the point of entry to the site, the guest house was not to compete with the Chemosphere yet compliment its modern aesthetic. The client also owns the house in the adjacent lot and the two lots were subsequently linked through zoning. Taking advantage of great valley views, the side overlooking the canyon has floor to ceiling sliding galls doors that open up to allow natural light, air, and sound to enter the space. The space itself is highly functional with all necessary amenities.

ROLE(S):
Junior Designer in charge of material sourcing, renders and concept imagery and drawings. Produced both design and construction drawings for this project.
