The site of this project is located just outside of the city center in 
Copenhagen, on a quiet block which lacks interaction or human scale.  Though the lot is surrounded by nondescript, impersonal midrises, there are multiple informal footpaths that cut through the site and create 
pedestrian-made axes.  

Based on the aforementioned attributes, the design focused on two 
concepts: creating human scale by limiting the building height, and 
encouraging interaction between the interior and exterior by 
various methods of transparency.
