The Woods provide a new sense of community to the Brooklyn neighborhood of Dumbo. Its twisting, spiraling and step-up design illustrates the possibility of how affordable housing can be implemented. The Woods gets its name from the main façade material as well as the repetitive use of wood and grass throughout the urban park.
