Craig Stewart is an architect involved in a wide range of project types that have helped redefine and enhance urban environments. The work addresses the shifting practices by which people move, work, and live within an increasingly global context. He is a licensed architect with extensive design and project management experience, having successfully overseen multi-disciplinary teams on a diverse range of international projects.
Previously, Craig held the position of Principal at Eight Inc. where he worked in the San Francisco and New York Offices, and established the Tokyo Office. He has practiced worldwide, completing projects in Japan, China, Singapore, Vietnam, and the United States. Prior to this, he worked extensively on large-scale public projects in the realms of education, sports, corporate and event facilities at Roto Architects, Gary Paige Studios, Heery International, and Osborn Architects.
Craig earned his Masters Degree from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and along with his professional practice, has taught architectural studios and seminars focusing on the generative potential of programmatics and imaging at SCI-Arc.
Craig currently lives and works in New York, US.
