As architect of record for a local school district, the design team was charged with creating an addition to the district’s high school to accommodate a growing student population as outlined in the district’s Long-Range Facilities Plan.
The study resulted in a proposed two-Phase project, with Phase I being built immediately to address the school’s urgent need for additional classrooms.
The proposal was further tailored to provide a framework to accommodate the projected gradual increase in student population with a connective future Phase II addition built on top Phase I. All of these considerations were made in tandem with the Distrct’s strict budgetary limits, allowing the District to begin saving for the Phase II addition.
