The clients are a husband and wife who are both engineers interested in NASA, space, and machines. They have three young kids aged between 9-12 and occasionally host handicapped relatives.

The design concept is a nod to the way machines work, where each gear is interconnected to perform a task/ function. Our design aims to transform this home into a machine. With its open space design, accessibility features,  healthy materials and finishes and mechanical and passive house technology, this machine functions with the sole purpose of providing the occupants' quality of life.
