his was a conceptual dance piece of our choosing. There was no budget or theme, it just had to be a dance piece of our creation.
Concept: 
I decided to go with the social topic of  the BP Oil spill. The dance is based on the perspective of animals that are affected by this human error. The set will reflect the process the animals go through when conflicted by this terror. For the exterior set I will use the beach/sea and the interior will be animals in captivity being cleansed and rescued by humans. As the scene progress there will be the symbolic representation of the big corporations like BP presented by money and a demon lurking in the facade.
