McGraw-Hill Building, 330 W 42St

Work space expansion and reposition for an address with true drama and character. The site 330 West 42nd St, formerly known as the McGraw-Hill Building, is an art deco classic of the Manhattan skyline. The project aims to retain the best of the building’s character while modernizing it for today’s tenants, ensuring that both historical charms and modern amenities are delivered. People will be working in an icon, and in an oasis of calm at one of New York’s most energetic locations.

Office tower are not designed like this anymore - varied floor heights, facade wrapped with teal terracotta and operable windows with muntins - elements that give the building its authenticity to stand out of the modern mediocrity.
The project takes advantage of large, open warehouse-style floor plates with exceptional daylighting and setback roof terraces with fantastic views, for tenants seeking a open, bright, well-connected office space in Midtown Manhattan.
