Over 2 centuries the architecture in New York City has adopted many cultures from different eras, the coolness of the city is its vibrant colors and that there is no one style. its unique quality is the juxtaposition of all the styles on top of a bustling metropolitan backdrop.

The primary task that came up to our design team was a discussion of how the passengers and visitors could sense the atmosphere of New York City immediately.

The strategy for the Terminal 6 design is to address how the spatial experience could be uniquely New York. The material palette, passenger flow configuration and gathering points inside the terminal capture multiple icons of NYC and make the architecture itself a destination.
