CambridgeSeven completed Schematic Design for Tremont Crossing, a new 1,800,000 SF mixed-use destination featuring a museum, residences, offices, retail and parking for 1,400 cars.
Acting as an important crossroads along the Tremont Street corridor of Boston, Tremont Crossing is designed to serve as a destination for both the neighborhood and the entire city. Architecturally, the design reflects the various uses contained within, scaled to reflect the intensity of the spaces inside while engaging the public and complementing the surrounding urban context. Each building element is sheathed with a palette of materials applied in unique patterns to create distinction between the various uses while enriching the overall urban scale of the project.
With its eclectic mix of street-front and destination format retail, office, residential, and parking, Tremont Crossing will attract residents and visitors alike and will inevitably become a vital and vibrant urban center serving the city of Boston.
