Berkay Ogunc is an architect ( born in 1989 in Antalya, Turkey) graduated from "The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC)" with a thesis of in the field of "Emergent Territories", collabration with Sci-Arch, in 2013. He recently participated to "Athens,Islands of Difference" workshop that is held in Athens, Greece and by IOA, Dı'Angewandte, University of Applied Arts Vienna. In addition he is currently studying MArch in ETSAB and worked as a freelance for an architectural company that is related to fashion stand design, Le-departement, after he had worked in an architectural office, Natalia Manzanas Esteve Arquitectura, in Barcelona. After graduating from Yeditepe University (on 2011, Istanbul) with a bachelors degree in architecture, he worked in Architects and Han Tumertekin (Istanbul), and Koca Group Construction(Istanbul), where he was involved in design stage in conceptual and office projects and also construction field.

During his education in IAAC, he gained experience with digital fabrication, advanced architecture and paratmetric design with computational knowledge. With his thesis project, HYPERMUTATION, he worked in the concept "genetic architecture" that is related to Hernan Diaz Alonso.  

These experiences strenghtened his vision of futuristic architecture with related to computational design in the field of fabrication, parametric design ,mutant-genetic architecture.
