The assisted care portion of the project is organized as a band of interlocking units surrounding a common living. This allows both interaction and privacy with just the push of a door.
Transformability is key. The community center transforms throughout the day to serve the many interests of its occupants. Furthermore, the living units may change from a loft style room to a one or two bedroom apartment depending upon need at any given time.
