Hill House is a proposed design for a dwelling and gallery to be used by an artist in residence at Wave Hill, in the Bronx, NY.  For this project, I developed a tectonic which could be used repeatedly, with small variations in order to create different conditions of privacy throughout the dwelling.  The dwellings 0 level and 1 level create a gallery space, open to the public, while the -2 level is the living space for the artist. The tectonic divides these spaces internally, by creating privacy externally.
