SANZE

It is known during the meditation how important it is to be in the moment, now, here.

Also, it is essential to let the weights we carry from the past, be in the present, feel the present, and move on to the future without any extra weight.

The project takes its name and idea from this mentality; In Japanese culture, SANZE means past, present, and future.

The project aims to make you part of this experience, not only with meditation but also with the design of the meditation cabin.

The concept comes from the initial idea. The facade element, represents the time.

It starts and grows from the earth where our “Past” exists. It can be heavy sometimes, so you need to let some weight. There comes the lockers to help you with that.

Then we enter into “Present” as meditation space.

After that, we climb upstairs, and “Future” welcomes us. Because thanks to the meditation, we are not the same person as we entered this cabin. We are lighter but still do not know about the future. That is why the element extends out of the cabin and let you slide. Thus, you can experience that light feeling.
