I have recently completed my Masters of Architecture degree from University at Buffalo with advanced certification in sustainability, and I am looking forward to being LEED Accredited as well. I have also worked in India for 3 years after finishing my B.Arch degree.
In my last year at the university during my undergrad I worked on my thesis, Unveiling The Net of Community: Discussion on Polarisation in settlements Based on Ethnicity. The research aimed at studying the transformation in the fabric of spaces due to the impact of religious and ethnic polarisation. I participated in some researches that focuses on informal settlement in India. The research investigates the built environment, the behaviour of the people and its social system, later the observation and the analysis was developed into a micro urban intervention and strategic urban development or future.
My professional background includes three years of architectural work in India, where I collaborated on a variety of projects, including a hostel project, during my time at Align Design Lab. Leading a team of five, I provided design concepts, curated detailed drawings, and implemented sustainable design strategies. Additionally, I have a solid foundation in research, having interned at Universidad Camilo José Cela in Madrid, where I explored sustainable facade systems and sensor technologies. This combination of hands-on design experience and research knowledge has given me a comprehensive understanding of both the technical and conceptual aspects of architecture.
I have learnt multiple software including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Arduino, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrate and Sketch up. I have practiced and perfected these softwares over my undergraduate study. I have learnt practical skills including Physical Model, Site Mapping, 3D Modelling tools, Team Work, Documentation and Social Media Handling. I have been an active student and a professional.
