Aurélie Paradiso Design is a NYC based design practice with a focus on residential projects. We work with clients who are culturally aware- often with a particular interest in the arts.
Led by design principal Aurélie Paradiso, the firm collaborates with interior designers, architects, engineers and an extended network of fine artists and craftspeople to deliver cohesive, functional, and inspired design solutions. Our practice is founded on our finely honed understanding of space, materials, construction details, and efficient project management.
Aurélie Paradiso established the studio in 2012 after a ten-year tenure with the award winning New York firm Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects.
Aurélie received her Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and Art History from Columbia University and her Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture. She has taught architecture and interior design in the undergraduate and master’s programs at Parsons the New School for Design. She has been invited as a guest critic at Wesleyan University, Carnegie Mellon University, Pratt Institute and New York Institute of Technology.
Aurélie was born in Switzerland to a Swiss-French mother and Italian father, carries three passports (Swiss, Italian and US), and speaks three languages. She travels frequently throughout Western and Eastern Europe, North Africa, Central America and Southeast Asia, allowing the history and culture of these places to inform her work.
