RISD's 2020 International Geodesign Collaboration (IGC) project focused on the coastal adaptation of low-lying neighborhoods in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. We developed and tested simulations, incorporated stakeholder feedback in the iterative planning processes and addressed complex time-dependent problems like climate adaptation.
