The mission of The Greenlining Institute is to forge a path toward a future where communities of color can flourish by cultivating economic prosperity, inhabiting vibrant and healthful spaces abundant with opportunities, and standing resilient in the face of the challenges brought on by climate change.
Our company took charge of scanning and compiling data on the current state of two dormitory buildings, crafting an immersive virtual 360 walkthrough tour (digital twin), and constructing a comprehensive 3D Revit model complete with detailed as-built plans.

What is digital-twin technology?
Digital-twin technology is a way to create a virtual version of a real-world object, system, or process. This virtual model mirrors the physical counterpart in real-time, allowing you to monitor, analyze, and even predict how the real thing will behave.
For example, in construction, a digital twin can be made for a building. It captures the building’s layout, systems, and even the materials used. You can use this twin to test different scenarios, check for issues, or plan upgrades—all without touching the actual building.
One of the biggest advantages of digital twins is that they provide real-time data. This means you can make decisions based on what's happening right now, instead of relying on outdated information.
