Andrew Salter, Assoc. AIA

Brooklyn, NY, US

As an M. Arch. graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design, I am an energetic designer, model maker, and builder with hands-on capabilities and a passion for adaptive reuse and socially driven architecture. I am actively pursuing my licensure through IDP hours and ARE testing.

I have several years of experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino/VRay, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite, specializing in rendering and BIM/3D Modeling. At IA Interior Architects, I am a Revit leader, helping to expand the knowledge base of design programs with fellow colleagues. I was also fully involved in numerous proposals and competitions, including concepts, renderings, and client presentations. At Ricci Greene Associates, I collaborated on a large scale public project in NYC from schematic design to design development, as well as developed the preliminary design and permit set drawings for the firm's office renovation. Independently, I was involved in the Urban Green Council's R3Build Competition, winning the People's Choice Award.

A selection of these projects can be viewed in the Portfolio link in my contact info. The work samples below show hand crafted models, drawings, and renderings from various professional and academic projects.

I am available for full-time work in New York City. If you have any questions, or would like to schedule an interview, don't hesitate to e-mail at or call at 347.526.9023.
