After graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Minor in Philosophy from the University of Kentucky, Aria moved to the Adirondacks to work for the Arts and Crafts architecture firm of Andrew Chary. Aria took part in the renovation and alteration of several historical great camps. After transferring to the firm's Westchester branch, Aria's projects consisted of new, modern weekend estates. In 2011, he relocated to Manhattan to work with Richard H. Lewis Architect, a firm which created the modern template for New York City restaurant design. Aria worked at Brooklyn-based MESH Architectures, a hybrid architectural practice which pushes the boundaries of traditional architecture by fostering interactions with new technologies. As a designer and project manager, he oversaw the development and completion of a multitude of projects including the Made in New York Media Center. Aria has been a volunteer with Storefront for Art and Architecture as well as a guest critic at Pratt Institute and Wentworth Institute of Technology.
