This 24 unit ground up condominium building is designed for Washington, D.C.’s lively Eastern Market neighborhood. Working with District Quarters development, ARCHITECTUREFIRM is taking cues from the Georgian and Federal architecture of DC and the local art deco and monumental stone buildings of the Capital. The building form is defined by a brick elevation that follows a sinuous line in plan that renders a soft, fluid façade and maintains scale with its single- and multi-family neighbors.
