HNTB designed a 100,000 square-foot athletics and academics facility at the University of Southern California. Functions will include student athlete academic services, sports medicine, football operations, football lockers, auditorium and conference rooms and a state-of-the-art strength and conditioning room. The design of the John McKay Center is inspired by the Romanesque and pre-Gothic style as well as the Tuscany and Southern European style by using materials and motifs from both periods.
