Two second floor commercial spaces in Tribeca were joined to create dance studios, offices, changing rooms and support spaces for the Gelsey Kirkland Ballet Academy. For the 7,400 square foot studio the original tin ceilings were left along with some of the brick walls, in contrast to the stark white studio with its dance flooring system and bright illumination.
