This 2,800 square foot office space in the Flatiron District is home to a multimedia design and production firm. We were commissioned along with designer Henry Ellis to create a clean visual aesthetic, punctuated with textures of age and use. The worn wood floors were simply patched and painted black and the old steel windows and wood sills were stripped of their many coats of paint. White walls with clerestory windows allow natural light to penetrate the inner spaces and provide a limpid background for occasional splashes of colorful art and developing projects.
