IKAL Playa

IKAL was born as a 100% Mexican retail space; this store gathers together the best of Mexican design, transforming space into an architectural project that will provide the local scene with the highlight they deserve.

Subtle design takes us back to the simplicity of Japanese design, which altogether with the use of materials and textures specific to national design achieve, in a melting pot of experiences and styles, the guiding axis of our process.

"IKAL Playa" is a store focused onto a beach theme, located at the interior of a retrieved colonnial house in front of "Parque España", one of the cultura and hype centers of México City.

Furniture design, done specifically for the space, achieves almost perfect assemblies, which, supported by a lighting project and ambient design, awaken curiosity in the user stimulating every sense.

Spaces disposed for the creation of an experience that encompasses, through several levels, marking and adapting to current trends. There is a holistic approach, space and creation, light and presence, gives the user a sense of belonging and intrigue, which allows for a close up and exploration of the space.
