The project started from the idea of polarity and ambivalence in activities and games, linked to the child's motor development. Activity spaces spread out and fold down to take up the room space, and offer different layouts according to the activities of the day.
MANUAL ACTIVITY SPACE
Space dedicated to quiet manual activities such as drawing which require the child's concentration. Between the age of 3 and 6, a child discovers his laterality (right-handed or left-handed) as well as his manual gestures. The space spreads out and folds down to create a small house equipped with a table and chairs, and a drawing wall. The small house reduces the initial volume to help the child focus on his gestures.
MOTOR ACTIVITY SPACE
Space dedicated to activities linked to the child's balance and position. Children can run, jump and moove in a large space.
Between the age of 3 and 6, the child develops his motor skills which enables him to acquire spatial references, to get a real understanding of his own body in relation to others'. He also acknowledges his movements and learns how to be more confident in them as well as in his balance. The space spreads out and folds down as children move to offer a flexible space.
ATMOSPHERE
Orange is a bright, inspiring corlor which symbolises energy and creativity, as well as balance, rythm and enthusiasm.
