This was a group project to design and build a new face for the reception area of the School of Architecture (the client). The project started as an independent study and developed into a built project over the summer. The design concept started with a barcode and through variations in structural plywood rib densities and programs achieved a variety of functional opacities. The installation functions as a display system for student models and boards with a series of shelves and magnetic ribs.
