Competition for a new Mixed-Use development in Rwanda's Capital city of Kigali. Located directly adjacent to the City Hall and a prominent pedestrian thoroughfare, this site provided ample opportunities for social engagement. 

The program called for a hotel component, service apartments, office space and a ground-level retail component. The team saw fit to structure the design approach as two towers reminiscent of the terraced Rwandan hilltops with a pedestrian street through the middle. Each of the towers incorporated different program with one housing the office space and the other housing the hotel and service apartments components. The emphasis on social engagement earned the team a second place finish in the competition.
