The addition of a high speed train station designed by Norman Foster will transform the area into one that is much more contemporary and lively. Therefore this project provides multiple services (housing, hotel, offices, shopping) to the community while also defining its future development. 

Connecting, both physically and aesthetically, to the future high speed train station was one of the main focuses of our design because these two projects will alter the appearance and culture of the area greatly.  Rather than keep the dangerous jumble of crosswalks that are there currently, we designed an underground passageway to safely link the train station, our site, and the surrounding neighborhood.  Shops and a large skylight help make travel through this area pleasant.
