University at Buffalo, School of Architecture and Planning, Buffalo, NY, US, Digital Curation Assistant
As the Digital Curator Assistant I work with the School of Architecture and Planning's Academic Affairs team to create and manage digital media content. The responsibilities are to creatively capture the life of the school and activities of its faculty, students, and staff through digital photography and video; and to support production and curation of these visual assets. I report directly to the school’s Visual Resources Curator and also work closely with the school's Brunkow Fellow (who edits our annual journal of student work) in a shared mission to curate, in print and digital forms, the work of the University at Buffalo's students. With the school's new facilities in Hayes Hall and state-of-the-art technology, display and projection systems, this position plays a central role in activating the space and capturing the life of the school within it.
