The project included the design for residential housing, as well as Tolbooth for community interaction in the centre of its character. The aim of the project was to provide a deepened living experience from the perspective of collective engagement as well as private inhabitation , thus organising spaces in a manner suitable to two contracting age groups stated in the brief: elderly, young professions. This underlining idea was to market the new build and the Tolbooth to the locals. My design intentions were to complement the traditional surrounding dwellings, as well as subtly directing the pedestrians with light and geometrical strategies.
