This project explored the use of fabric form concrete
design to express its unique fluid properties through
illustrating movement. A site was chosen to highlight an
‘invisible’ space within a building as an extension of the
structure itself. The object of the project was to investigate
how long the installation could go unnoticed by daily
occupants of the building. For those who eventually notice,
the design then needed to inform them of fabric form design
in an interesting way. The inspiration for this project
stemmed from my experience in sewing costumes and was
meant to imitate draping of folds.
