Mars Beyond

This project explores the feasibility and implementation of the built environment as a medium of colonizing mars and other planter objects in our solar system. Throughout history the built environment has been a huge part of our civilization whether it was classified as such or not. As our technology propels us forward towards planetary exploration, the context of Architecture in space is becoming more of a reality than just conceptual theorizing. This research project lies in the middle of that area in the hopes of propelling Space Architecture even further. Establishing a Martian colony is only the logical step forward as day by day Mars is seen and proven to be more habitable more than we thought with the discovery of rich bodies of water, minerals and the ability to grow crops on native Martian soil.
