Andres Felipe Calderon

New York, NY, US

I am a recent graduate from The University of Texas School of Architecture.  My interests span from Urban Planning to Social Housing Issues, and resourceful and sustainable design.

I am a motivated and resourceful designer who works well in collaboratively studio environments as well as independently.  I have experience in the construction industry as a construction services coordinator for a large geotechnical and civil engineering firm.  Also, I have worked for various architecture firms where I have acquired experience on different stages of construction, from schematic design to production of construction documents.

My skill set in computer aided design (CAD) is strong with over 7 years of experience. I also have strong experience on other design software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD and Rhino with over 3 years of experience on each.  Nevertheless, I really enjoy analog means of communication such as sketching and model making.

In addition to architectural design, I have interest in graphic design and writing. In my experience as editor I have collaborated with a number of people to publish and designed various books and written articles for publication.

I play football (the European kind) and try to keep a healthy routine.
