PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To design the renovation of the Belle Isle Casino building, a historic event space located in Belle Isle public park, which is currently owned by DNR. The project scope will consist of designing a 50,000 square foot hospitality facility. 

SOLUTION: The new design of the Belle Isle Casino building will maintain the existing facility’s function as a banquet hall, while adding a few new components to the space. The main floor of the building will be converted to an upscale restaurant and bar for its primary use, while keeping the second floor as a banquet hall, available for guests to reserve ahead of time for special occasions.
