I am an emerging architectural designer and have a solid working experience with BIM environment.
I had a five-year bachelor’s degree of engineering (Architecture design). And last year I graduated from University of Virginia with my master of architecture degree and an award of design excellence of year 2023. Those have equipped me with a solid architectural background and fluency of using any of the design tools. And I demonstrated my abilities through my several architectural experiences.
My curiosity towards new things has driven me to learn more in this career and I consider myself to be a quick learner and a person who takes initiative. I showed great interest in some advance tools during my study at UVA, for example, robotic arms, Augmented reality, 3D Cultural Heritage Informatics etc. I have taken class for all of that! I think high-end technology and techniques will give us new opportunity for design and promote our design efficiency.
Following with this attitude, I accept a job as a design technology administrator which expose me in a BIM working environment. At the beginning of this job, I am totally new to Revit nor have I had knowledge to BIM. But through my regular trainings and, most importantly, self-directed learning, I am able to accomplish my tasks such as designing Revit Families, organizing Revit library, develop design template files etc. I demonstrated my ability to communicate well with people from different disciplines background and capability of problem solving.

· Worked closely with the Principal and the Professional Architects to develop conceptual ideas.
· Developed timber structure detail drawings for 5 custom residential projects on Bald Head Island.
· Finished 1 construction drawing set for a small housing product independently.
· Conducted quality reviews for architectural drawings to comply with local regulations, zoning and building code requirements.

· Completed a small-scale store entrance design for NO.428 Madang Rd Hot pot restaurant, covering 2 different schematic designs, material selection, rendering, coordination with the client.
· Participated in several productions of Construction Bidding Proposal especially industrial parks like Huangshan Medical Park Project, employed InDesign, Illustrator to draw preliminary analysis diagrams, master plan, and set up bidding texts framework.
· Cooperated with other colleagues to accomplish several time-limited competitions, for example, Winery Babylon design competition (one-week project), learnt to use Rhino to build 3d model within the process.
· Employed physical model skills in design iterations and final model in Dachuan Resort which is currently under construction in Anhui province, China.
