Its a tangle between the present and the past. Wanshou Temple used to be the depositary of sutra, which is now devastated. Surrounded by the relics of Buddha temples, the newly built sutra depositary use the modern architectural vocabulary to reproduce the traditional spatial pattern and pursue the feeling of peace. The conflicts of modern and traditions evokes an unexpectedly peaceful feeling and subtle emotion involving the present and the past.
