Anthropologie Dos Lagos

Anthropologie’s Dos Lagos store is a prototype of a new design strategy for the brand, integrating public space and new connections between inside and outside. The façade of cast glass and aluminum zig-zags to create display areas inside, alternating with shaded seating areas outside. Above, a pattern of circles is planted with jasmine vines, becoming more densely planted to mark the entrance.

Perimeter display walls free up floor space and allow for the insertion of both “real nature” – a garden of native cacti in the center of the store and “second nature” – a shoppable hill covered in green carpeting and astroturf. These “no-shopping” zones emphasize the brand’s natural sensibility while providing relief from the monotonous artificiality of the shopping center landscape.
