DESERT ROSE OASIS

REFERENCE TO THE HISTORY

Like Desert Rose, Dubai has been formed by the wind blowing from the desert and waters of the Persian Gulf. The creak has grown nourished by the sea waves, with its fishing, pearling and sea trade activities.

Since 1833 from the small harbor, Dubai has been transformed today in to the international trade and tourism centre thanks to the Nature: Sea, Sun and …Oil.

IDEA

The Desert Rose is a stone created by the Nature, thanks to the crystals formation in arid sandy conditions. On the image of this exceptional creation, Dubai has grown like this beautiful stone from the individual crystal grains and became a symbol of  the power of constant human efforts for excellence.

The created volumes facing the sea to the north-east side are draped by the sky azure colored envelope, reflecting the glaring of the sea waves, and on the south-west side protected from the arid desert winds, by the sand crystal like shields.

Let this way the Desert Rose Tower become the symbol of Dubai’s yearning to the sustainable future based on the local resources and culture.

TECHNICAL FITTINGS & SUSTAINABILITY

The Bastakiya wind towers are for us inspiration for the cooling and ventilation system. The winds will serve both, cooling and electrical power generation.

For underground levels homing the parking and technical services, the air crossing this area will pass through the CO² green filters in aim to be purified.

The created on the ground level transparent water mirror will refresh and cool the air passing above him and help the general cooling system. The wind turbines installed on the way will benefit from the chimney effect to produce the green electrical power.
