Komodor is a technology company that gives coders and developers a seamless way to assess and troubleshoot bugs across their entire development stack. Komodor is young, vibrant startup company, so Switchup designed a youthful, bright, and vibrant office space with plenty of potential for the company to grow and make it its own. The Komodor office space gives employees adequate space to get stuff done while also promoting collaborative work and effective breaks.
Komodor’s open and clean office space is awash in modern lines, natural wood panelling, and calming deep sea blue-green tones. While in an high-ceilinged industrial warehouse setting, the Komodor space is brought to human scale using softly-lit wall sconces at just above eye level.
Project teams at Komodor have numerous options when it comes to workstation modality, but there is a large common working area with collaborative work tables. Each table is separated by a small privacy screen to maintain some level of human scale while working in a large space. Natural wood tones accent these spaces to make them both attractive and functional for employees.
Double fridges, a large bar, and a coffee station in the kitchen makes this space highly practical for a large workforce. High up, greenery creates a sense of bringing the outside in, and is a wonderful juxtaposition to the industrial piping in the space. A neon sign brings a playful element to the décor, and the same sea blue green color story is present in the floor to ceiling cabinetry to create a sense of cohesion with the rest of the office. Seating is offered in both round café tables and chairs and a long, communal banquet table with seating.
Komodor is a young, vibrant company. That is reflected in the kitchen and break room, where modern lighting and playful modern art help the space appear more youthful. Broad windows give employees and guests a view of the city while also providing a secondary source of light in the area.
