WHO WE ARE

Frank A. Messineo, AIA is the founding principal of Solutions Architecture. With 20+ years of experience in all areas of Architectural Practice, Frank has fostered positive, long-term relationships with clients, consultants and agencies that have spanned much of his career. A former principal of two larger firms, Frank grew concerned with the fact that, at those firms, “profitability and "the bottom line" were often times more important than being responsive to the client’s needs.”

In October 2009, Frank set out to put his vision of a different kind of Architectural Firm to the test. That vision would provide a unique brand of Architectural and Engineering Services focused on Client Relationships, Personal Service and Managing Expectations.

Solutions Architecture has become the product of that vision and has passed each test with flying colors. The firm has grown to twelve members in a little over eight years; outgrowing their humble beginnings in a 900 square foot windowless office in Newark, NJ and moving into a new 3,700 square foot office, in Verona, NJ; designed by Architects, for Architects.

In our new office, “functions are enriched by the design” and the spaces created, work not only to enhance the productivity of our “family first” company, but to meet the needs of the employees and improve the social and psychological experience of the team.

At reception, visitors are greeted by bold colors, custom reception desk and a feature wall that lets visitors know that this isn’t your ordinary office. The open production area and kitchen become the heart of the office; a place to take a break, catch up with a colleague or grab an espresso or smoothie. The flexible furniture and white board walls create a variety of spaces for collaboration, brainstorming or just getting together to chat. While the exposed structure and unfinished spiral ductwork is in contrast with sleek LED light fixtures, one gets the sense that they are meant to be together. The wireless intertnet-enabled music system allows the staff to select an appropriate genre to stimulate the task at hand. The conference room and video wall serve to convey to clients and anyone else who visits, that this Firm is at the top of its game.
